Memory: I Want To Hold Your Hand

In the early 60's I had a pen pal from Scotland. Sometime around the middle of 1962 she began writing about the Beatles and how fantastic they were. It wasn't until the beginning of 1963 that I actually heard "I Want to Hold Your Hand" on the radio. I was waiting for a school friend to get herself ready for school. She was always late. I can remember that morning like it was yesterday. I became a total addict and to be able to say that I had known about them months ahead of everyone else was an added bonus!! I was a bit of an expert--for a while at least.
